We are a very sociable group.  Every walk ends with a visit to a local café or pub; on at least 2 occasions each year we finish at the walk leader’s house for tea and cakes. 

In early May we make an annual trip to the Lake District for 2-or-3 days walking.  Leaving muddy boots behind we enjoy several curry evenings each year, usually at a local Wetherspoons. 

The third Thursday in January is the date for our annual lunch.
